Itinerary & Notes:
This was a morning only excursion due to the forecast of heavy rain after lunch.

A 2 mile circuit of the pond gave views of several habitats - old deciduous woodland, fields and streams.

Bird food is regularly brought to the pond-side Car Park, where it attracts several species including Marsh Tit, Parus palustris.

The pond is home to a small flock of feral Mandarin Duck Aix galericulata.
