Our Lecture Hall, Museum Room and Garden are all available for hire, either separately or as a complete package for larger events.

The hall includes a raised stage and is ideal for lectures, exhibitions, receptions and similar events. It has direct access to the garden. There is level access to the hall from the car park and disabled toilet facilities are available at the same level.

The museum room is ideal for classes, small meetings and similar events. It is accessible from outside or from the lecture hall via a short flight of steps.

The Garden |

The south-facing garden has a large lawn covering an area of approximately 500 sq. m and is ideal for outdoor displays, small fetes and similar events. The lawn is surrounded by well-stocked borders, which can provide an attractive backdrop to your events. Small marquees and similar protective shelters may be erected.

The standard hire charge covers a single session, either morning, afternoon or evening, of up to 3 hours. £10 is charged for each additional hour or part of an hour. Rates for different hire periods can be arranged. The garden is not available for hire in the evenings. Hire charges include the use of the kitchen, crockery and cutlery. Light refreshments can be provided for an additional charge.
Prices for large social events may vary. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Smoking is not permitted in the building or in the garden.
Hirers may make their own arrangements for catering, but should be aware that the Health and Safety Regulations
applying to our premises allow cold food only to be prepared and served. Hot and cold drinks are permitted.
